DIVING @ DAYANG ISLAND (31st May - 5th June 2009)

It was so much fun!!! & this is my first time being able to dive with bunch of crazy, retarded, sengal, dumbass adrenaline divers. Dive spots such as Captain's Point, Lang, Ridney's Rock, Pinnacles are the underwater places to be in Dayang Island.
It such a worth being stuck & feeling bored waiting for 4 hours boat ride before it crashing the island's jetty. But, we manage to entertain ourselves up there.
We have those who r taking rescue diving course, numbers of open water & advance candidates, and those hyper active leisure divers yang always on the tip top condition..wah! puji diri sendiri..haha.
We have a doctor who luv partying while he is awake, we have a semi estate-machine guy who luv observing & studying ppl development, we hav one half naked man who always wearing his bangla sarung, we have 3 trio in here; one who is super slow paddling but details, one is super calming cool lady dat still tanam anggur, & one who definitely out of air faster than anyone else in this group trip, we have a cute curly hair weed down here, we hav an active & x reti duduk diam while she in the water, we hav an upper cut pusat boy with his hot blur fiance, we hav a moving yellow rubber duck showing us direction, we hav one pair of close brotherhood sibling here, we have org kuat yg will swim to the shore instead of using jetty right after dive, we hav a runner red crab extra tanned, we have a rock star-mr bonjovi, ..oh so much so much...
so much of these underwater characteristics....there are even more which i cud not digest at this moment..
credit to those who hav done it; an awesome island, a tranquility of privacy, scrumptious food (tasty fresh toast bread-from the charcoal heat, sedap o.k!), good friendly operators, spectacular view......only the vis is quite not in appropriate condition during dat time. Dont worry, we still have next year, dont we?...hahahahaha
... yippikayie for all the tremendous glory eva divers....sooottoooong..soootooong..shark shark!

MOUNT APO (24-27th January 2009)

Apo Apo Apo....1st credit I wud to comment here - THE SUMMIT; actually few peaks (7 peaks I believed) yang anytime kite leh hop on memane puncak yg nak. 2nd - THE BOULDERS (Bolby's Ridge @ 87 degrees); magnificent gigantic rocky area which took almost 5 hours for all of us (normal pace) to get through it. Batuan size sebesar raksasa satu2 jadikan aku super kagum, tapi sulfur vent, stim wap panas kluar dari tanah & celah2 batu, bau belerang kuning buatkan kerongkong menyengit dan sesak nafas, bijik mata pedih dan mulut payau. 3rd goes to the - LANDSCAPE, adoilah...lawanya...kalah Fansipan!. 4th - CAMPSITE...yeah I like the campsite, placing die,,,area die,,keadaan die, comfort level die, surrounding die, semua just nice. 5th - WILD BERRIES...banyak...start dari boulders dah ada tumbuh sampai la ke puncak..so tiga hari perut penuh berries =D.. 6th - VILLAGE & SURROUND; before reaching 1st nite campsite, (damai, permai, tenang, kerbau & kuda suka ria berkeliaran). 7th - AFTER SUBUH AT THE PEAK STARING AT THE ECLIPSE SUNRISE!!!!
It so gud to be there, kata Albert (our guide) maybe in a year this opportunity to see tremendous scenery come only 3 4 times, but to see the eclipse sunrise...take 10 years or more...yapadeee~!!!! it's just his comment, not fact ok!
Lastly, those who are hiking, trekking happily together, plus one at the campsite yg injured (Abg Mie). Pokcik2 Abe2 sekalian, Cik Kak Eiyam sorang kite & my dSLR buddy, Abg Romzi & Ijan..thx for sharing the shutter release with me.

Albert brought us through a Sibulan trial, not Kidapawan or Magpet or Kapatagan. Katanya trails ni paling jarang orang naik, pasal nak trek kat boulders tu challenge nyer lebih skit berbanding trail yg lain. Tp dari aku, aku tak kisah, janji trail ini indah, takde sampah, original dan mmg di reserve dgn baik. Berjalan atas lumut, lalang, batu dan pokok2 kecik yg kite amati pon dpt tau trail ini jarang dilalui org =. Kata Albert..orang suka ikut Kidapawan, tp die tak suke...sebab 'magic' keindahan alam disana kurang berbanding Sibulan disini.

Berastagi-Sinabung-Kabanjahe & Medan

I hit again Indonesia, this time tanah Sumatra. To be exact, I set to be in Kabaputen Berastagi, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pekan kecil yg dingin semacam dgn Fraser Hill, surrounding with small farms scattered randomly around the town, plus with the main famous landmark for the local people – Mount Sibayak. My objective is to reach the summit of Mount Sinabung, an hour away from Berastagi.
Flew with Firefly, from Subang to Medan, then straight get myself to Berastagi;(two hours bus journey). I reached the town at the late evening, then hired a guide & get an early sleep for the tomorrow action. 'my head up, observe the sky, am telling to myself it might be a rainy day for tomorrow.'
Early morning, on the Christmas day, from the starting point- Desa Singarang-garang we start our trekking. Penuh dengan kebun2 sayur dan kerbau2 as, I assumed are their main logistic transportation & harvest evacuation purpose.
Myself & Sempoerna (my guide) - a local Batak Karo people, a protestant christian from a nearby village are the only human on that area on that day. Everybody was celebrating, except us-->so called off idiot! Haha!
Trekking memula cam biasa...Cuma lepas je 20minit....hujan mula turun, and it's non stop until we reached back. Sebelum sampai puncak tu..dalam sekitar 20 min lgi, sulfur menyusuk hidung...waktu di puncak dan sekitar kawah....sulfur masuk ke hidung, mata, telinga & rongga tengkuk. yuk! wargh!
Thick mist, high moist, cold, open air, striking wind = mmg satu penyeksaan, plus dari mula trekking hujan turun je...mmg view satu haram pon tak nmpk..hahaha. weather conditions was not on my side. Tapi ,tiada kompromi..syukur, still sekurang2 aku sampai dan rasa sendiri pengalaman baru. Gue berjalan dalam kabut!!! Aku turun pada hari yg sama, sore hari, di Taman Wisata Alam Deleng Lancuk, di kawasan wisata Danau Kawar, Daerah Kabanjahe.
3rd largest city in Indonesia - Medan, was my last destination before going home. For me there was nuthing much u can do in here....(still it's all depend on wut person u r)...for me, I found it not as much exciting town as I expected. Referring to the lonely planet, Istana Maimun & Masjid Negeri are the recommended sightseeing here. I did it, jadi bleh tutup chapter, kira sudah kawtim Medan. Done!

Sipadan-Mabul-Kapalai (5th-9th Dec 2008)

It was my dream for me one day to swim & dive into the clear blue water of Sipadan, Mabul or Kapalai. The real thing is, I am expecting it to be there maybe in the next 2 or 3 years. However, things drag me, almost cudn't believed it, cuz it's too fast & out of my blues' plan. Finally, I dive! & I cruised myself into the best beach dive site of the world. Coral beauty arts, active marine life, almost transparent visibility beyond, this is my personal credit of my life experience – that is not to be forgotten, wooo wooo...
This memorable experience wudn’t be so great without the super duper cool dm & divers. Thx to Tho (ma old fren), Irshad (best buddy!), Zeehin (sweetest little smile), boy (honorable chef), Apis (kesepian bro), Fadhil (brotherhood), Eddy Gordo (layback hunter), Miding (loyal dm) & Sandra (for keeping us full stomach).
Not to be missed; to those Mabul Villagers yg sgt supportive & welcoming us seadanya, foreign divers yg best2 - we shared experience, knowledge & story with the morning glory attitude. Sorry i dont hav underwater camera, just as at it is, only at the surface =D. Hopefully G10 & WDPDC28 is my next target, hahah! $$$.
It's a worth world heaven underneath. Sipadan-Mabul-Kapalai, YOU'RE ROCK!

Initially, this trip was suppost to be budget & save cost, but the spenders are too excited and keep spend & expend their trip like a nobody business, donkeys used too have money, tetambah lepas big bonus! haha!
- we dive; koh racha yai,
- hop on the back of elephant
- rammed into ATV; the safari journey, get rough by the stream;
- sweat & wet!; white water rafting,
- paid out for a women or men show; so confused,
- walked like stupit around patong area
- hopped into the the island; Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Leh, Maya & Loh Sameh.
*just my 5cent opinion = Phuket not suitable for a honeymoon, just not.
We're we will heading next?

MULU PINNACLES (21st - 28th June 2008)

Plan utk ke sini dah sibuat setahun yg lalu, nih pon atas ajakan di Ad. Terima kasih mengajak. Plan2 awal mmg bukan ape, untuk save budget at max par.
Buat malaysian, rase2nyer patut setiap org, especially yg gemarkan nature gi melawat or sampai kan ke tempat ini. Bagi aku berbaloi. Ape yg mengkagumkan management park ni yg cukup ..cukup pentingkan standard dan quality utk pengunjung2. Rasanya ini la tempat di Malaysia yg kite dpt lihat org2 mentality yg dh advance dr kite yg mmg agak pandang remeh hal2 kebersihan n buang sampah ni. It was n still now under an Aussie mgmt. Sini yg aku perati tak kira ape level worker n people pon derang..bab2 kebersihan mmg sendiri paham. Tgh jalan2 kaki tu nampak sampah..automatik derang kutip bubuh poket...semua sebab nk jaga tmpt ni. Bangga bila tempat ni mmg menjadi ramai tumpuan pelancong...Kalo pulau tak perlu cerita..dh mmg redang,perhentian,tioman jadi sasaran org asing..tp ni hutan kite! berbeda! hehe...
Bagi yg dtg kesini & masih kuat n larat tu...gagah2kan la diri at least ke Pinnacles..menarik dan unique..sbb die agak berlainan nk mendaki nyer compare to gunung lain di M'sia...Berbatu kapur tajam2..yup....Dalam nota RM1 kite dibelakang sebelah kanan pon ade printing Pinnacles ni...
Alhamdulilah, 8 hari aku disini, Mulu aku sampaikan, Pinnacle pon aku sampaikan. Gua2 main attraction di sini pon aku sampai! (Lang,Rusa, Clearwater,Windcaves). Rasanya takperlu la aku nak explain betapa unique nyer gua2 kat sini..boleh surf cari kat internet...lg terperinci...cuma dr aku...aku kagum..dan kalo lah boleh..nk je aku buat adventure caving, tp kalo semua nak buat..mana satu nak focus? hehe..
Gunung Mulu, uh..jauhnyer engkau! 1st day bertrekking, aku pewai...pewai dek krem kaki..."sakit sakit" horror sungguh krem kaki aku tu...risau..~...berjalan untuk sampai ke puncak mmg jauh, tetambah bile kami buat cuma 3 hari instead of 4 days 3 nites. Ape yg lain sikit utk ke Puncak Mulu ni..mak datuk..treknyer..soggy n muddy..peat soil condition..so takyah berangan la nak pakai kasut canggih2..no use...simple as kasut getah menoreh dh memadai.Balik dr Mulu, kami esoknya terus sambung untuk terus ke Pinnacles...non-stop beb! Pagi nya mula ke gua, terus ke Kuala Litut, dari situ bermalam di Camp 5. Esok nyer Pinnacles area. Hehe, park mgmt mmg jaga kemudahan disini tip top. Tahniah diucapkan..proud aku. =) Dan inilah aku wish utk setiap kaw/tmpt rekreasi kite di mesia ni..ini tidak..buat lawa...tunggu sethn..abis barai dh..pastu terbiar..sadis~!

It was around 45 minutes traveling period by a long boat to reach the river junction - starting point on an easy trekking (8.8km) to the Camp 5 (base camp with complete facilities) .It is the only access to every visitor who wish to get through to the Headhunter Trails that end at Limbang or wishing to hike up the Pinnacles Summit-check your back-right side of RM1 note"
